TeeTonic

as part of our quest to enter a series of competitions, I decided to enter the online TeeTonic competition - an on-going open competition for t shirt design.
I had had the idea i submitted floating round in my head for a while, but never clocked on that it might make an interesting t shirt design;
using the template TeeTonic provide, I submitted this design:



I feel that the phrase "black and blue", despite it's denatations of the effects of violence, have a pleasent rhyming quality to them. here i have simply provided these literary qualities with a colour/layout based response. (i continued using the same blue tone as in the fishtank brief, i think it is quite nice, almost a pastel blue without loosing any of the energy, but leaving behind the guadiness of a more vibrant electric blue)
