Whales are top. They definitely are some of my favourite animals.
The Guardian is top. It definitely is my favourite newspaper.
The guardian website has an excellent feature called the "Week In Wildlife" under the "Environment" section, which is just a selection of the most beautiful wildlife photographs from that week - I came across this one and thought it really is an awfully sad photograph but incredibly serene, despite it's implied morbidity. The act and nature of a beached whale has a peculiar quality to it - really poignant and epic.
