I also feel that i don't really put enough of my own stuff on here and i don't do enough drawing in my spare time anyway.
So i have a plan! I'm going to run a few weekly features! are you excited? I am!
Type-face Tuesday!
I don't get to do any typography on my course at Uni so i'm going to use this to explore some different type-faces, just try and swat up on them and post a bit about a different type-face every week!
Songs for Saturday!
I've seen blogs which do a illustrated film reviews and the like and I love them, I think theyre great so I'm going to try and do my own illustrated music review; I reckon illustrating a musical concept will be harder and more challenging than doing a film - and I'm more involved with music than film anyway (I live with music students so music if blissfully in-escapable!)
Each features will be based around the an "album of the week" concept, an album which i particularly love or have been listening to a lot that week.
Stories on Sunday!
Similar to Songs for Saturday, This really is just going to be an illustrated feature for an event that had happened in the past week; personal, political, social, whatever! this really could be a good one!
All these are going to begin on the first week I move into my new house, when i have all my kit and life settled down, on the 19th of September. It really will be good fun!
Also, what do you think of the new lay-out? pretty nifty eh? i'm quite happy with it. I changed it because i didn't feel the last layout and logo really reflected my own work, so I have created a blog-space where my own work which i post will feel more at home. let me know what you think! lets just say bye to the old logo, because i think it was nice, but just not appropriate.
